The Dutch Mahjong Association is enormously proud that the Netherlands have been given the honour of organising the World Mahjong Championship 2010.  Through this event we hope to bring together the many countries in which Mahjong is played.

We face the challenge of making this three-day tournament a great success. However, due to budgetary constraints, staging this event will only be possible with the help of sponsorship. Consequently, the organisers of this event would like to offer you the opportunity to promote your company in front of a truly international society.

Your contribution will not only support the organisation of the World Mahjong Championship; it will also be used to support a National charity. The WMC organization has chosen ‘Het Colombinehuis’ as its beneficiary. ‘Het Colombinehuis’ is a holiday residence in Flevoland that provides help for families with children that require extra attention. These children often have no chance to go on a holiday for reasons, such as having undergone significant medical surgery, dependency on a wheelchair, suffering from a chronic disease or severe emotional trauma. For these children the establishment of the Columbine founded ‘Het Colombinehuis’ to provide both hope and respite.

The value of the sponsorship or the equivalent in kind will determine the sponsorship package.
